Jessica Mamula is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 10 years of experience working in mental health. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2011 and worked as a nurse in the areas of emergency psychiatry, emergency medicine, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for addiction, and dialysis. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing and psychiatric nursing board certification in 2018. The first 3 years working as a PMHNP-BC, Jessica worked with people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. She enjoys collaborating with other members of the mental health care team and medical providers as needed to ensure good quality and continuity of care. Since January 2022, she has worked in private practice in Colorado.
Jessica is passionate about helping others and listens carefully to her patients’ feelings and concerns. She takes an extensive medical and psychiatric history, completes a full psychiatric evaluation, and utilizes an individualized plan of care to best treat her patients. Her work is with people across the lifespan. She has a broad range of expertise and is up for a challenge. She is LGBTQ+ friendly. Specific psychiatric specialties include: depression, PTSD, anxiety, OCD, addiction, chronic illness, cancer, end-of-life, ADHD, emergency psychiatry, and more.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys hiking, mountain biking, dancing, teaching baton twirling, being creative, and spending time with friends and loved ones. Jessica strongly believes in reducing the stigma of mental illness and embracing people for who they are. She is excited to work together with you and hopes to make a positive difference in your life!
